American Samoan Party, Which one are you?(Not That Kind Of Party)

Now That we are nearing the 2012 campaign season, one question comes to mind about our political structure here in on our beautiful islands, American Samoa. What political party do our candidates actually represent? I remember when there is an election going on here, I usually hear a lot of the same oh same oh speeches, but what political camp do they represent? I took a lot of classes in school about American politics, but I still could not figure out what the local candidates represented. Republican, Democrats, Independent, Leftist, Rightist, or other?
I remember Honorable Congressman Eni F. Hunkin, Fofo I. F. Sunia are democrats. In the past I remember that Leala Peter Reid was a republican. I am not sure about other local officials or any past government officials of what parties they belonged to. Kind of strange thing if you were running for a government office here in American Samoa.
I seriously think that we islanders don't have that concept of political affiliation down. All I see when there is an election year coming up, usually there are massive BBQ's and other activities that have food as a centered activity. Hehehe, all I could see is who is going to be in the top two spots in any political race on island, are those who had a lot of plates and drinks given out to the masses. Sad but it's TRUE! Political parties have nothing to do with it. I think it just complicate things here. So I think we should have a Party called the, nahhh I let you fill that in for yourself.....
